Leatherworking faz exatamente o que o nome diz, você produz armaduras de leather usando leather.
Fantástico não é mesmo? Também é possível fazer algumas bags e itens como armor kits (armor buffs que dão mais stats, como se fosse um enchant). No entanto, leatherworking faz mail também (já que shamans e hunters podem usar
mail a partir de level 40). Ou seja, essa skill e mais util para Rogues, Druids, Shamans, e Hunters. Existem três tipos de crafting: Tribal, Elemental e Dragonscale.

P. Como eu troco de especialização?

R. Desde o patch 2.0.3, Blacksmithing/Leatherworking passaram a ter especializacões para sets high end BoP. Agora você pode desaprender uma especialização de Leatherworking e aprender uma nova achando o npc apropriado e
desaprendendo e depois aprendendo à nova especialização. Todos os recipes que eram específicos para alguma especialização podem ser treinados por npcs normalmente.

A profissão Jewelcrafting foi criada junto com a expansão Burning Crusade. Com isso, apenas accounts que tenham a expansão podem acessar os trainers de Jewlecrafting em The Exodar(capital dos Draenei), Silvermoon City(capital dos Blood Elves), e outlands. No entanto, todos os jogadores podem usar itens criados por um jewelcrafter.
As atividades principais de um jewelcrafter são produzir rings, necklaces e gems, com alguns extras como statues e trinkets. Jewelcrafters precisam de ores e barras de minério, o que torna mining praticamente uma necessidade. Ore e necessário para prospecting, que destrói 5 ores para criar dust e gems. As bars são para os crafts em si.
Um Jewelcrafter com mining possui as 4 habilidades necessárias no seu spellbook: Jewelcrafting, Prospecting, Find Minerals, Smelting.

P. O que são “sockets” e quais gemas eu posso fazer para itens com sockets?

R. Itens com sockets têm “slots” nos quais gemas podem ser inseridas. Se uma peca de armadura ou arma pode ser socketed, você pode dar shift-click no item para abrir a janela de socketing. Itens com sockets só serão encontrados na outland. Você não vai encontrar nada com sockets em nível 20, e os patterns de gemas precisam todos de 300+ jewelcrafting.
Existem 4 tipos de socket: Red, Yellow, Blue e Meta. Você pode colocar uma gema em qualquer socket, mas para conseguir o socket bônus daquele item você precisa colocar as cores corretas. Orange serve para sockets Red e Yellow, Green serve para Yellow e Blue, Purple serve para Red e Blue. Meta sockets usam gemas mais raras e poderosas como diamonds. Apenas meta gems entram em meta sockets.

P. Como eu conto gemas Orange/Purple/Green em relação aos requerimentos de uma Meta Gem?

R. Meta Sockets às vezes especifica que você precisa ter mais gemas Yellow do que Red ou alguma coisa parecida. Como isso funciona para gemas compostas?
Simples, cada gema composta conta como 1 gema de cada cor para fins de meta gem. Uma gema Orange conta como uma gema Red e uma Yellow por exemplo.

Engineering e uma profissão divertida. Assim como alchemy, faz em grande parte consumables, no entanto, você pode criar vários itens extras também. Engineering e uma das profissões mais diferentes por ai, você pode fazer pets, bombas, trinkets e outras coisas loucas. Ao mesmo tempo, ela vem com um problema fundamental em relação a fazer dinheiro: quase todos os itens que você cria precisam da skill engineering para equipar ou usar. Então, o seu maior mercado e também a sua concorrência, o que dificulta muito a venda de itens;

No entanto, engineering e considerada uma das melhores skills de pvp. Bombas dão dano e stun. Os trinkets fazem de tudo, desde jogar redes, tacar fogo, refletir magia, etc. Os equipamentos também podem te dar uma grande variedade de efeitos, desde respirar embaixo d’água ate cair lentamente.
Outra coisa que é importante ser frisada em relação a ser um Engineer é que você pode fazer suas próprias montarias.

Engineering faz par com mining, pois “tudo” que você precisa vem de mining. Então, enquanto engineering vai te deixar pobre, você pode fazer uma grana boa com mining.

Enginnering também tem uma pequena peculiaridade. As coisas que você faz (geralmente as que não são consumables, como equipamento com efeitos ou trinkets com efeitos) podem… As vezes não funcionar como planejado. Death Ray é mais interessante. Dragon gun e bom pra quem não tem AoE, mas pode falhar num momento critico, fazer você pegar fogo e te deixar em fear por alguns segundos. Dor. Isso não e maneiro. Com o Death Ray você sabe o que você esta ganhando: dano em você, e mais dano no inimigo. Sem contar algumas coisas divertidas: um paladino pode usar divine shield e usar o death ray, assim não tomando dano nenhum. Alem do que, o Death Ray pode dar muito dano de uma vez só, fazendo dele um bom finalizador.

2. Boots: Essas são quase iguais…
Gnome: Cooldown de 30 minutos, e precisa de engineering. O lado ruim e que você deixa de ganhar o bônus de movement antes dos 20 segundos, ou você começa a correr aleatoriamente.
Goblin: Cooldown de 5 minutos, e não requer engineering. O problema e que elas explodem (dano nunca e legal), as botas são destruídas (você sempre perde a rocket fuel), e você precisa ter engineering pra poder fazer outras.

Honestamente, Goblin seria uma escolha melhor… Pra falar a verdade, não usaria nenhuma das duas, mas se tivesse que escolher, seria Goblin.

3. Gnomish Shrink Ray vs Goblin Mining Helmet/Goblin Construction Helmet
Shrink Ray, enough said.

4. Net vs Mortar
O maior problema aqui e que quando o mortar não funciona, você vai sentir muita dor. Quando a rede não funciona, você fica preso. O mortar te joga pro alto e você toma dano de fogo e queda, já tiveram relatos de pessoas tomando 9k de dano de um erro de mortar…

Sapper Charge e melhor, mas harm prevention funciona de verdade…quando você fica banished, você esta invencível e não toma dano mesmo… Os 2 só são realmente bons em low level.

Chicken e mais divertido e engraçado, mas a bomb e mais útil, principalmente pelo dano ser AoE.

8. Mind Control Cap vs Rocket Helmet
Rocket Helmet.

9. Gnomish Cloaking Device Vs The Big One
Os 2 são muito bons. O cloaking device te deixa invisível, mas não pode ser usado em batalha. The Big One custa caro pra fazer, mas causa muita dor.

Considerando o quanto World Enlarger e inútil, acho que você já sabe a resposta.
